No matter the season, there's never a shortage of things to do when you visit Kingston.

There are no mid-winter blahs here! Kingston has always been renowned as a hockey town, so treat yourself to an exciting Ontario Hockey League game with the Kingston Frontenacs at the KRock Centre, or lace up your skates and join the crowd at Springer Market Square for free skating. You can also find a sled and toboggan the hill at Fort Henry!
FebFest is our fabulous winter festival featuring entertainment, historic hockey with the reenactment of the first games between Queen's University, the Royal Military College and Royal Canadian Horse Artillery and lots of downtown winter fun for the whole family.
If you're not into outdoor activities consider our two great film festivals - ReelOut Queer Film & Video Festival or the Kingston Canadian Film Festival, both of which present the best in contemporary film.

When the warm weather shines upon us, Kingston features a regular schedule of Music in the Park, Movies in the Square and Canada's longest continually running farmer's market resumes its regular operating schedule of Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays in Springer Market Square. Spring also features First Capital celebrations marking Kingston's history as first capital city of a United Canada. It's a great prelude to a summer of excitement.
As summer hits full stride, entertainers from around the world call Kingston home for a week in July as visitors and residents alike are wowed by the annual Kingston Buskers Rendezvous.
Fanfayr Arts & Craft Show brings a hundred of the best artists and crafts-people from Ontario and Quebec to Confederation Basin where you'll find unique items in pottery, weaving, glass, jewellery, wood, paintings and more.
In August, Kingston hosts the 1000 Islands Poker Run and the Canadian Olympic Regatta Kingston (CORK), showcasing Kingston's premier position as a recreational hotspot and freshwater sailing capital of the world. The Kingston Sheep Dog Trials and Wolfe Island Music Festival are everyone's favourites. But before we call officially call summer to a close, The Limestone City Blues Festival takes to the streets, patios and nightclubs of the city to bring the best of the blues to Kingston.
There's no let down for autumn in the city - spice things up at Chilifest or feel the heat of professional dance at the Canada DanceSport competition. Be inspired by world-class authors at Kingston WritersFest as the city celebrates its place as Canada's most literary town- home of the first novel, the first cookbook, and the first mystery thriller. The Kingston Jazz Festival takes the stage and the season's schedules begin for the Kingston Symphony Orchestra and OHL Kingston Frontenacs.
